Wolcott Food Pantry – Food Distribution Hours of Operation until otherwise noted: Every other Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 11:45 (2022: April 13th, April 27th, May 11th, etc.).
Under the direction of the WRC, the Wolcott Food Pantry collects and distributes food, paper goods and personal hygiene items to the needy in Wolcott. A large portion of these items come from town wide food drives and special events held throughout the year. We are in partnership with the Connecticut Food Bank which is a recurring source of food items. Food is picked up from the Connecticut Food Bank once per week and distributed by the Food Pantry the following day. We also purchase food from local grocery stores with cash donations we receive. Everyone at the pantry is a volunteer, generously donating their time and efforts to such a worthwhile cause.
